“Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice: and let men say among the nations, The Lord reigneth.”
שָׂמַח
To rejoice, to be glad, to exult. Samach. This is the day the LORD has made. Let us rejoice and be glad in it. Rejoicing in the day is an act of trust in the One who made it.
