“For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.”

To save, to heal, to deliver. Sozo. Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners. Sozo covers salvation healing deliverance and wholeness. Jesus restores everything that was lost.

To believe, to trust, to have faith. Pisteuo. Believe in the Lord Jesus and you will be saved. Believing is more than intellectual agreement. It is a transfer of trust to Jesus.
