“So that ye come behind in no gift; waiting for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ:”
Χριστός
The one set apart and equipped for a specific task. Oil was poured on kings, priests and prophets in the Old Testament — the anointing meant: this one is chosen, this one is sent. Jesus stands up in Nazareth and reads Isaiah — and then says: this is Me. I am the one sent.

Gift of grace, spiritual gift. Charisma. Each one has received a gift so use it to serve one another. Every gift is a grace. It was not earned. It was given for the good of others.
