Gather together, come with, associate. Synerchomai. The early church was marked by those who came together, not apart. Where you consistently gather reveals what you truly value.

Assembly, church, called out ones. Ekklesia. I will build my church. The church is not a building or a programme. It is a people called out by God and gathered around Jesus.

Whole, complete, entire. Holos. Love the Lord your God with all your heart. God does not want a portion of you. He wants all of you. Half-hearted devotion is not devotion.

properly, meaning superimposition (of time, place, order, etc.), as a relation of distribution (with the genitive case), i.e. over, upon, etc.; of rest (with the dative case) at, on, etc.; of direction (with the accusative case) towards, upon, etc.

To speak, to talk, to utter. He spoke and it was done. The word of God is not silent. It is always speaking.

Tongue, language. Glossa. Death and life are in the power of the tongue. The tongue is the smallest member but sets the whole course of a life. Use it for life.

To enter, to go in, to come in. Eiserchomai. Enter through the narrow gate. The narrow gate requires humility. Pride cannot fit through it. Only those who bow can enter.

Untrained, unlearned, ordinary person. Idiōtēs. Paul acknowledged that some in Corinth were idiōtai, unable to follow what was spoken in tongues. God uses the unlearned. Do not despise what you lack in training.

To utter, to speak, to say. Rhéō. Words are not passive; they carry weight and shape reality. Speak with intention.

Raving, madness, to act like a maniac. Mainomai. Paul's message of resurrection made Festus cry out that much learning had driven him mad. What the world calls madness, God calls truth. Preach it anyway.
