A boy-leader, a tutor, a guardian. The law was our guardian until Christ came so that we might be justified by faith. The law was a preparation for grace not a replacement for it.

To have, to hold, to possess. I have learned in whatever state I am to be content. Contentment is not about having more but appreciating what you have.

Many, much, great. Polus. Much fruit. Many witnesses. Great grace. God is not stingy. He gives abundantly to those who are connected to the vine.

When Jesus teaches His disciples to pray, He begins with the most radical word imaginable — Father. In the ancient world, approaching God as Father was almost unthinkable. Jesus opens the door and says: this is how you come. Not as a subject before a king. As a child before a Father who already knows what you need.

Jesus. Iesous. The Greek form of Yeshua meaning the LORD saves. The name given before His birth. In His name is salvation healing and authority over every power of darkness.

Good news, gospel, glad tidings. Euaggelion. The Gospel is the power of God for salvation. Not just a message about power. The message itself is power when received in faith.

I, me, myself. Egō. Jesus claimed it absolutely: "I AM." Every human "I" exists only because the great I AM first spoke. Your identity is derivative, not ultimate.

To beget, to be born. Gennao. That which is born of the Spirit is spirit. New birth is divine not human. You cannot birth yourself into the kingdom. God does it.
