“But and if she depart, let her remain unmarried, or be reconciled to her husband: and let not the husband put away his wife.”
καταλλάσσω
she should be reconciled;
To reconcile, to change from enmity to friendship. Katallasso. While we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son. God made the first move toward us.
μένω
she should remain

To abide, to remain, to stay. Meno. Abide in Me and I in you. Abiding is not a feeling. It is a choice. Stay connected to the vine and fruit is inevitable.
