“Do ye not know that they which minister about holy things live of the things of the temple? and they which wait at the altar are partakers with the altar?”

Sacred, holy, set apart. Hieros. The sacred scriptures are able to make you wise for salvation. What is hierós belongs to God and must be treated as such. Handle holy things with reverence.

To work, to labour. Whatever you do work heartily as for the Lord and not for men. God sees every task you do in His name.

Shared participation, joint partaking. Symmerizomai. Those who preach the gospel share in its benefits alongside those they serve. Partnership in the work creates partnership in the reward.
