Or, than, either. Ē. Scripture often forces a choice: serve God or mammon, life or death, narrow or wide. The either/or of the gospel demands a response. Choose.

Only, alone, solitary. Monos. Man shall not live by bread alone. The deepest hungers of life cannot be satisfied by material things. Only God can fill what God shaped.

I, me, myself. Egō. Jesus claimed it absolutely: "I AM." Every human "I" exists only because the great I AM first spoke. Your identity is derivative, not ultimate.

Authority, right, power. Exousia. All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Jesus delegates His authority to His church. We operate under His commission.

To work, to labour. Whatever you do work heartily as for the Lord and not for men. God sees every task you do in His name.
