“Of which salvation the prophets have enquired and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace that should come unto you:”

From soter — saviour, the one who rescues from danger. Soteria is comprehensive — healing, wholeness, rescue, preservation. Peter stands before the council and says there is no other name. Not as arrogance. As the deepest mercy — there is one who can save, and His name is Jesus.
