“Or unto governors, as unto them that are sent by him for the punishment of evildoers, and for the praise of them that do well.”

Governor, ruling authority. Hēgemṓn. Jesus stood before governors and kings, yet remained unshaken. Earthly power answers to a higher throne.

To send, to dispatch, to commission. God sent His Son born of a woman born under the law to redeem those under the law. Mission begins with sending and sending begins with love.
