“Servants, be subject to your masters with all fear; not only to the good and gentle, but also to the froward.”

To submit, to place under, to be subject to. Hupotasso. Submit to one another out of reverence for Christ. Submission is not weakness. It is the posture of security and strength.

Fear, reverence, terror. Phobos. Perfect love casts out fear. Fear and love cannot fully coexist. As love grows fear shrinks. Let love displace what fear has occupied.
