“Who is gone into heaven, and is on the right hand of God; angels and authorities and powers being made subject unto him. ”
δύναμις
The root of our word dynamite. But dunamis is not explosive destruction — it is the inherent ability to accomplish what needs to be done. Jesus says you will receive this power. Not work for it, earn it or deserve it. Receive it. The Holy Spirit is not a reward. He is a gift.
