“Wherefore let them that suffer according to the will of God commit the keeping of their souls to him in well doing, as unto a faithful Creator. ”

Soul, life, inner person. Psuche. What does it profit a man to gain the whole world and forfeit his soul. The soul is the real you. It outlasts everything the world offers.

Faithful, trustworthy, reliable. Pistos. Well done good and faithful servant. God is looking for faithfulness not brilliance. Be trustworthy in what He has given you.

To suffer, to experience. Pascho. He learned obedience through what He suffered. Suffering is not wasted in God's economy. It produces something that ease never can.
