“And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come. ”

Wrath, anger, indignation. Orge. The wrath of God is revealed from heaven. God's wrath is not irrational rage. It is the settled holy opposition of perfect love to everything that destroys.
