Only, alone, solitary. Monos. Man shall not live by bread alone. The deepest hungers of life cannot be satisfied by material things. Only God can fill what God shaped.

Macedonia, a region of Greece. Makedonia. Paul heard a man from Macedonia pleading, "Come over and help us," and the gospel crossed into Europe. One open door can change the trajectory of a movement. Respond to the call.

All, every, whole, any. Pas. All things work together for good. All authority has been given to Me. All the promises of God are yes in Christ. God thinks in absolutes of blessing.

Faith, trust, belief, faithfulness. Pistis. Without faith it is impossible to please God. Faith is the currency of the kingdom. Everything flows to those who trust God completely.

To go out, come forth, depart. Exerchomai. Jesus regularly withdrew from crowds to pray, and sent his disciples out into the world. Movement is often the shape of obedience. Go when you are sent.

Therefore, so that, as a result. Hōste. What comes before determines what comes after. Live in light of the therefore.

Need, necessity, requirement. Chreía. God will supply every need according to his riches in glory. Bring your real needs before him. He meets them.

To have, to hold, to possess. I have learned in whatever state I am to be content. Contentment is not about having more but appreciating what you have.

To speak, to talk, to utter. He spoke and it was done. The word of God is not silent. It is always speaking.

Someone, anyone, something. Tis. Scripture often hinges on this small word: if anyone thirsts, let him come. The invitation is unrestricted. No one is excluded from the call.
