Now, the present moment. Nyn. God's work is not confined to history or prophecy alone; it breaks into the immediate now. Receive and respond to what He is doing today.

Command, charge, pass along an order. Parangellō. Paul uses this word to describe the authoritative instructions passed through the church. What God commands is not suggestion. Obey and pass it on.

Arrogance, lofty-mindedness. Hypsēlophronéō. Paul warns the wealthy not to practice it, and Romans 12 calls believers to think soberly instead. Elevation in status is never an invitation to elevation in pride. Stay low.

But not, not even, nor. Mēde. A word that extends a refusal, carrying a "no" further down the line. Let your no mean no, all the way through.

Hope, expect, confide. Elpizō. We are saved in hope, and hope that is seen is not hope. Anchor your expectation in what God has promised, not what you can see.

wealth (as fulness), i.e. (literally) money, possessions, or (figuratively) abundance, richness, (specially), valuable bestowment

God. Theos. In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God. The ultimate reality. The source of all existence. Personal knowable and present.

To live, to be alive. Zao. I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in Me will live. Life in Scripture is always relational. To live is to be connected to the source of life.

To offer, present, furnish. Parechō. God calls his people not only to hold truth but to hold it out toward others. Be the one who affords grace, not withholds it.

All, every, whole, any. Pas. All things work together for good. All authority has been given to Me. All the promises of God are yes in Christ. God thinks in absolutes of blessing.

Richly, abundantly, copiously. Plousíōs. God gives wisdom and the Spirit not sparingly but richly to all who ask. Receive generously, and give the same way.
