“But the ark of God had David brought up from Kirjath–jearim to the place which David had prepared for it: for he had pitched a tent for it at Jerusalem.”
נָטָה
To incline, to stretch out, to bend. Natah. He inclined His ear to me. God bends down to listen. He positions Himself to hear the faintest cry of His people.
