2 Corinthians 1:6
King James Version
6 Jun 2026
“And whether we be afflicted, it is for your consolation and salvation, which is effectual in the enduring of the same sufferings which we also suffer: or whether we be comforted, it is for your consolation and salvation.”
σωτηρία
From soter — saviour, the one who rescues from danger. Soteria is comprehensive — healing, wholeness, rescue, preservation. Peter stands before the council and says there is no other name. Not as arrogance. As the deepest mercy — there is one who can save, and His name is Jesus.
