“For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.”

God. Theos. In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God. The ultimate reality. The source of all existence. Personal knowable and present.

Building up, edification, construction. Oikodome. Let us do what leads to peace and to mutual edification. Every word spoken in the church should build not destroy.

Heaven, sky, the dwelling of God. Ouranos. Our Father in heaven. Heaven is not just a place but a presence. The Father is there. And where the Father is is home.
