“Tell it not in Gath, publish it not in the streets of Askelon; lest the daughters of the Philistines rejoice, lest the daughters of the uncircumcised triumph.”
שָׂמַח
To rejoice, to be glad, to exult. Samach. This is the day the LORD has made. Let us rejoice and be glad in it. Rejoicing in the day is an act of trust in the One who made it.
