“And he shall restore the lamb fourfold, because he did this thing, and because he had no pity.”

To do, to make, to accomplish. Asah. God looked at everything He had made and called it very good. Your life is also His asah. He is still working on it.

Spare, have compassion. Chamal. To feel pity and act on it. As a father has compassion on his children so the LORD has compassion on those who fear Him.

To be complete, to make whole, to pay. Shalam. God's salvation is not partial. He makes everything whole and brings everything to completion.
