“And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight.”
νεφέλη
Cloud. Nephele. A cloud received Him out of their sight. The ascension was marked by a cloud. The same cloud that led Israel in the wilderness carried Jesus into glory.
