“And said, Cornelius, thy prayer is heard, and thine alms are had in remembrance in the sight of God.”

Prayer, supplication, a place of prayer. Proseuche. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective. Prayer is not a last resort. It is the first response of the trusting heart.
