“Upon the which when I had fastened mine eyes, I considered, and saw fourfooted beasts of the earth, and wild beasts, and creeping things, and fowls of the air.”
κατανοέω
To consider carefully, to fix the eyes on. Katanoeo. Consider the birds of the air. Consider the lilies. Jesus calls us to observe creation as a lesson in trusting the Father.

Bird, winged creature. Peteinon. Look at the birds of the air. They do not sow or reap yet your Father feeds them. If He cares for birds He certainly cares for you.
