“And there came thither certain Jews from Antioch and Iconium, who persuaded the people, and, having stoned Paul, drew him out of the city, supposing he had been dead.”
πείθω
To persuade, to trust, to be confident. Peitho. I am confident that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion. God finishes what He starts in those who yield.
