“And when he was disposed to pass into Achaia, the brethren wrote, exhorting the disciples to receive him: who, when he was come, helped them much which had believed through grace:”
μαθητής
Not just a follower — a learner who becomes like the teacher. The last command Jesus gives is not go and convert — it is go and make mathetes. People who learn from Me, walk like Me, think like Me, love like Me. The mission is not decisions. It is transformation.

Grace, favour, gift, charm. Charis. By grace you have been saved through faith. Grace is God giving what we do not deserve. It is His nature expressed toward those who need Him.

To believe, to trust, to have faith. Pisteuo. Believe in the Lord Jesus and you will be saved. Believing is more than intellectual agreement. It is a transfer of trust to Jesus.
