“Paul said to the centurion and to the soldiers, Except these abide in the ship, ye cannot be saved.”
σώζω
To save, to heal, to deliver. Sozo. Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners. Sozo covers salvation healing deliverance and wholeness. Jesus restores everything that was lost.

Soldier. Stratiotes. Endure hardship as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. Soldiers do not expect comfort on campaign. They expect the hardship and embrace it for the mission.
