“But when the Jews spake against it, I was constrained to appeal unto Cesar; not that I had ought to accuse my nation of.”

Jewish, belonging to Judah. Ioudaios. Salvation is from the Jews. God chose a people to bring the Messiah into the world. His choice of Israel was for the benefit of all nations.
