“Saying, What shall we do to these men? for that indeed a notable miracle hath been done by them is manifest to all them that dwell in Jerusalem; and we cannot deny it.”

Sign, miracle, token, wonder. Semeion. Unless you see signs and wonders you will not believe. Signs point beyond themselves. The miracle is never the main thing. It points to the One who does it.

To dwell, to settle, to inhabit. Katoikeo. That Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. Dwelling is permanent residence not occasional visits. He wants to live in you fully.
