“And they made a calf in those days, and offered sacrifice unto the idol, and rejoiced in the works of their own hands.”
θυσία
Sacrifice, offering. Thusia. Present your bodies as a living sacrifice. The sacrifice God wants is not an animal on an altar. It is a life fully surrendered to His purposes.
