“And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:”

To create, to make, to form. Ktizo. In the beginning God created. The universe did not create itself. It was spoken into existence by a personal God who still speaks today.

Knowledge, full recognition. Epignosis. The knowledge of God. Epignosis is deeper than gnosis. It is experiential intimate knowing not just information about God.

To put on, to clothe oneself. Put on the Lord Jesus Christ. Wear Him like a garment. Let His character cover every part of your life.
