“Observe the month of Abib, and keep the passover unto the Lord thy God: for in the month of Abib the Lord thy God brought thee forth out of Egypt by night.”
פֶּסַח
Passover. Pesach. The blood on the doorpost that caused death to pass over. Jesus is our Passover Lamb. His blood causes judgment to pass over us.
שָׁמַר
keep

To keep, to guard, to observe. Shamar. The LORD will keep you from all harm. He watches over your coming and going both now and forevermore.
