“And thou shalt do according to the sentence, which they of that place which the Lord shall choose shall shew thee; and thou shalt observe to do according to all that they inform thee:”

properly, to flow as water (i.e. to rain); transitively, to lay or throw (especially an arrow, i.e. to shoot); figuratively, to point out (as if by aiming the finger), to teach
נָגַד
they will tell

To tell, to declare, to make known. Nagad. The heavens declare the glory of God. Everything in creation is telling the story of its Creator.
