“The Lord shall establish thee an holy people unto himself, as he hath sworn unto thee, if thou shalt keep the commandments of the Lord thy God, and walk in his ways.”
קוּם
To arise, to stand up, to establish. Quwm. Arise shine for your light has come. God calls His people to get up. Passivity is not the posture of those who carry His glory.
שָׁמַר
you will keep

To keep, to guard, to observe. Shamar. The LORD will keep you from all harm. He watches over your coming and going both now and forevermore.
