“That the slayer might flee thither, which should kill his neighbour unawares, and hated him not in times past; and that fleeing unto one of these cities he might live:”
דַּעַת
Knowledge, intimacy. Da'ath. Deep personal knowing, not just information. God wants to know you and be known by you. Not a transaction but a living relationship.
