“And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;”

Wine drinker, drunkard, tippler. Oinopotēs. Jesus was falsely accused of being one, yet the charge reveals how holiness unsettles those looking for fault. Do not give your accusers true ground to stand on.

Wine. Oinos. New wine must be put into new wineskins. The life of the Spirit cannot be contained in old structures. God is always doing something new. Be flexible enough to receive it.
