“Therefore they did set over them taskmasters to afflict them with their burdens. And they built for Pharaoh treasure cities, Pithom and Raamses.”

Pit, cistern bor; a deep hole used as a prison or grave. Joseph was thrown into a bor but God brought him out. No pit is too deep for God to reach.
