“If thou buy an Hebrew servant, six years he shall serve: and in the seventh he shall go out free for nothing.”
עָבַד
To serve, to work, to worship. Abad. You shall worship the LORD your God and Him only shall you serve. Worship and service are the same word in Hebrew.
