Galatians 3:29
King James Version
6 Jun 2026
“And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise. ”
Χριστός
The one set apart and equipped for a specific task. Oil was poured on kings, priests and prophets in the Old Testament — the anointing meant: this one is chosen, this one is sent. Jesus stands up in Nazareth and reads Isaiah — and then says: this is Me. I am the one sent.
