“Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.”

God. Theos. In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God. The ultimate reality. The source of all existence. Personal knowable and present.

To reap, to harvest. Therizo. Whatever a man sows he will also reap. Sowing and reaping is a universal law. Sow generously toward God and people. The harvest will come.

To mock, to sneer at, to deride. God is not mocked. A man reaps what he sows. You cannot cheat the laws of God any more than you can cheat the laws of nature.
