“And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.”
פָּרָה
Fruitful. Parah. To bear fruit, to increase and multiply. God's first command was be fruitful. He made us for increase, not just survival. He wants us to flourish.
חַי

Life, living. Chay. The quality of being alive. The same root as Chayim, life in its fullness. God breathed chay into Adam's nostrils and he became a living soul.

Have dominion, rule, govern. Radah. God gave humanity dominion over creation. Not to exploit but to steward and care for what He made.

To bless, to kneel. Barak. God blessed creation. He blesses His people. Every blessing flows from His hand.
