“And Lamech said unto his wives, Adah and Zillah, Hear my voice; ye wives of Lamech, hearken unto my speech: for I have slain a man to my wounding, and a young man to my hurt.”
קוֹל
Voice, sound, thunder. Qowl. A voice of one calling in the desert. God speaks in many ways. The voice that matters most is the one that points to Jesus.

To hear, to listen, to obey. Shema. Hear O Israel. In Hebrew to truly hear means to obey. God is looking for those who hear with the intention to do.
