“And he searched, and began at the eldest, and left at the youngest: and the cup was found in Benjamin’s sack.”
חָלַל
Pierced, wounded, profaned. Chalal. To be fatally pierced through. This is the word used for Jesus being pierced on the cross. He was pierced because of what we did, not because of anything He did.
כָּלָה
he finished

To be completed, to be finished. Kalah. It is finished. The word Jesus cried from the cross. The work of redemption was completely done.
