“And Israel said unto Joseph, Now let me die, since I have seen thy face, because thou art yet alive.”
חַי
Life, living. Chay. The quality of being alive. The same root as Chayim, life in its fullness. God breathed chay into Adam's nostrils and he became a living soul.
מוּת
let me die

To die, to be put to death. Muth. The sting of death is sin. But death has been swallowed up in victory. Jesus holds the keys of death.
