“And Joseph said unto his brethren, I die: and God will surely visit you, and bring you out of this land unto the land which he sware to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob.”
פָּקַד
To visit, to attend to, to appoint. Paqad. God pays personal attention. He comes to attend to your needs. His visits always produce change.
שָׁבַע
he swore

To swear, to take an oath. Shaba. God swore by Himself because there is none greater. His promises are backed by His own eternal nature.

am about to die

To die, to be put to death. Muth. The sting of death is sin. But death has been swallowed up in victory. Jesus holds the keys of death.
