Someone, anyone, something. Tis. Scripture often hinges on this small word: if anyone thirsts, let him come. The invitation is unrestricted. No one is excluded from the call.

From, beside, by the side of. Apart from Me you can do nothing. Total dependence on Jesus is not weakness. It is the only path to fruitfulness.

Glory, honour, splendour. Doxa. The Word became flesh and dwelt among us and we beheld His glory. Glory is the weight and radiance of God's presence. It transforms everything it touches.

Honour, value, price, esteem. Time. You were bought with a price therefore glorify God in your body. Your body is not your own. It was purchased. Use it to honour the one who bought it.

To crown, to adorn with a wreath. Stephanoo. He who competes is not crowned unless he competes according to the rules. Faithful endurance earns the crown. Finish well.

Appoint, constitute, set in place. Kathistēmi. God designates leaders; rulers are not self-made but placed. Walk worthy of the post you have been given.

Work, deed, act. Ergon. We are His workmanship created in Christ Jesus for good works. Good works are not the root of salvation. They are the fruit of it.

Hand. Cheir. Into Your hands I commit my spirit. The hands that made the universe were the hands that were nailed to the cross. He gave everything including His hands.
