“Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.”

Strive, make every effort, be diligent. Spoudazō. Paul charges believers to be diligent to present themselves approved before God. Eagerness is not optional for the serious disciple. Make haste toward what matters.

Therefore, then, accordingly. Therefore since we have been justified through faith we have peace with God. The therefore of Scripture always builds on something God has already done.

To enter, to go in, to come in. Eiserchomai. Enter through the narrow gate. The narrow gate requires humility. Pride cannot fit through it. Only those who bow can enter.

Rest, dwelling place, abode. Katapausis. God swore in his wrath that a rebellious generation would not enter his rest. The rest he offers is not merely relief but a settled place of belonging. Enter it by faith.
