“For we which have believed do enter into rest, as he said, As I have sworn in my wrath, if they shall enter into my rest: although the works were finished from the foundation of the world.”

Wrath, anger, indignation. Orge. The wrath of God is revealed from heaven. God's wrath is not irrational rage. It is the settled holy opposition of perfect love to everything that destroys.

To believe, to trust, to have faith. Pisteuo. Believe in the Lord Jesus and you will be saved. Believing is more than intellectual agreement. It is a transfer of trust to Jesus.
