“Hear, O heavens, and give ear, O earth: for the Lord hath spoken, I have nourished and brought up children, and they have rebelled against me.”
פָּשַׁע
To transgress, to rebel, to break away. Pasha. He bore the sin of many and made intercession for the transgressors. The worst rebels are included in His intercession.
שָׁמַיִם
Heavens

Heaven, sky. Shamayim. The visible sky and the spiritual realm where God dwells. God inhabits eternity but also dwells with the humble and contrite in spirit.
