“Is this your joyous city, whose antiquity is of ancient days? her own feet shall carry her afar off to sojourn.”
רֶגֶל
Foot, step, journey. Regel. The priest placed blood on the ear to hear God, the thumb to serve God, the foot to walk with God. The whole person consecrated — from hearing to doing to going.
